asher's 1 year stats.

Our baby is 1 year old!!!

It's been a busy month for Asher Cannon. He has been learning to walk... he takes lots of steps, but seems to prefer to crawl everywhere. He is always on the go, and full of energy. He has been babbling lots. He says "mama", "dada", "bye bye", "ni-nite", "tank-u" (thank you) and what sounds like "tractor". He seems to try to say most of what we ask him to...but it doesn't always sound very clear. He has started shaking his head no- which is still super cute, but of course that will soon change! :O)

His stats which are as of this week:

Weight: 25.8 lbs 75th percentile
Height: 31 inches 75th percentile
Head: 49cm 97th percentile


He remains lots of fun, he is a ball of energy. He loves wrestling with Matthan, playing drums with Daddy, playing with his tractor, stealing remote controls, opening and closing doors!, pushing his toy grocery cart, snuggling with mommy, playing peek-a-boo, tickle time, and reading books.

Asher is eating pretty well. He will eat most any vegetable as long as its pureed and the only fruit he will eat remains bananas. He will eat ham and chicken which is wonderful! Its funny how he and his brother are complete opposites in regard to foods. Asher is SUPER messy and refuses to wear a bib. Matthan is very neat and insists that he have a bib on before he begins eating! Silly boys!! We have recently found some foods for Asher to try at the organic market. Im so grateful that there are safe foods out there for Asher to enjoy. His allergies remain a challenge so we are seeking to find more things for him to try.

Asher continues to have such a sweet personality. We enjoy him so much and are so grateful to God for the gift he is to our family.
