Asher you are 6 months old! Half a year has already gone by since you were brought into our lives!! You are such a sweet boy- with lots of energy. As your brother broke records last week with lots of sleep, you are breaking records as the baby who functions on the least amount of sleep possible. We haven't figured out why its so hard for you to settle down at night, its possible its still your allergies. Most nights its after 10 or 11pm when you finally go to sleep (for the first time), and then you wake frequently during the night. In the past week you have successfully taken a few bottles. We think we've found a formula that's safe for you. Although the past few days your eczema has started acting up again- so we are trying to figure out if its a delayed response to the formula or something else.

You are eager to get moving...you roll all around on the floor to get to what you want to get your hands on. You are quite fast. You still fall to the side after a few minutes when sitting up on your own, and there isn't a safe seat for you in the house- other than the highchair. Somehow you are able to slide out of your bumbo and boppy seat.


You are such a cheerful guy, smiling all the time and most people who meet you find you to be so sweet and friendly! This past week you went to your first wedding, you looked so handsome in your little outfit and you did great on our little road trip to get there.

You still LOVE bathtime, you get so excited as soon as we turn the water on in the bathtub. You kick and splash in the water- and you love to try to get a hold of your big brother. You have so much fun.


We've tried only a couple of food items with you...oatmeal cereal which you aren't thrilled about, and apples (baby food). You are still getting the hang of swallowing whats put into your mouth- you like to immediately push whatever it is right out. We go to the doctor next week for your check up and we are looking forward to talking with the doctor about your allergies, sleep issues, and hearing your latest stats.
