matthan:19 months.

Matthan is now 19 months old! Im late on posting this because both boys have been sick for the past week or so. Matthan broke some serious records with the amount of sleep he got last week. One night we put him down at 7pm and he did not wake up until 12:30pm the next day! The following days he took 3 1/2 to 4 hour naps! His cold or whatever it was really wiped him out!


Matthan has grown immensely in his love for his little brother! He often reaches over and pats him on the head, and he'll even go over an hug and kiss him without being prompted. He brings Asher toys to play with, and anytime he isn't with us he is constantly asking about him.

These days Matthan is really into Mickey Mouse, trucks, and most any animal. Whenever we get in the car he asks about cows and horses- he loves when we pass them while we are driving.

His appetite is quite poor since he's been sick- and it hasn't yet recovered. We are hoping in a few days this will change- otherwise this boy will start dropping weight. He hardly eats anything!


He is doing much better with his bedtime routine. He always does better for Daddy, but since he isn't usually home in the evenings this can be a time of difficulty for us. The last several nights Matthan has not even cried when left in his room. This is a HUGE improvement, as before he was screaming at the top of his lungs until he literally fell over and went to sleep. Praise God for growth!!!


Matthan is super active and we are enjoying our summer of exploring new things with him.
