asher 10 months.

Asher's 9 month check up was a little late last month, so really his stats are as of 10 months:

Weight 21.13 (50-75th percentile)
Height 29 inches (75-90th percentile)
Head circumference 47 1/4 (90th percentile)

We continue to try to slowly introduce foods that are allergy free for Asher. He does not enjoy pureed food- though, he's agreed to try some sweet potatoes consistently. Otherwise he likes the "real thing". He's eating bananas, brown rice, popcorn, veggie chips, rice cakes. He is eager to try anything we are eating, but we are needing to go very slow in introducing him to whole foods.

His favorite is POPCORN!

And we LOVE blessing him with this treat!

We continue to have incidents where Asher comes in contact with something of Matthan's. While they are happening much less frequently. Its certainly something that keeps us hyper-alert. Matthan has even started letting us know as soon as a crumb falls, or if he sees Asher drinking something. Its sweet to see his big brother trying to protect him.

Literally 1-2 minutes after consuming a sip of milk! :0(

Asher continues to be a very playful, fun-loving little guy. He loves playing peek-a-boo. And he has started dancing along to music- which is so cute.

He continues to babble, but no clear words just yet. Mama, Dada, Baba are pretty much what we hear the most. He has a precious laugh, that we hear the most when he is playing with his big brother.

This month was pretty busy. We had lots of trips to pumpkin patches which was a lot of fun for our family.

Asher is using the riding toys as walkers, he also can stand alone for a few brief moments-though he's not taking steps yet. He is however, making his way through the baby gate and up our stairs!

Claiming his pumpkin!!

Sweet baby!

Asher is sleeping MUCH better at night. He generally goes to sleep around 7:30pm(crying only for a few minutes or not at all). He sometimes wakes around 1am- but not always. Usually around 4-5am he wakes up and eats and goes right back to sleep and is up for the day around 8am. Naptime is still a challenge. It takes him a while to settle down- then sometimes only sleeps 30-40 minutes- though he is still exhausted. Late afternoon naps are also hard for him- so this is an area we hope to improve this month!

He plays wonderfully on his own. He is very quiet and often we have to go check and see what he is doing to make sure he hasn't gotten into something he shouldn't have. We often find him just sitting quietly playing with a toy or looking at his books.

He is such a blessing to our family.
Matthan loves him so much and he just melts our hearts each day!
