eight months old.

Eight months ago our baby entered the world and my how our lives have changed since that wonderful day. God continues to bless us with each day he gives us with this little guy. We are really enjoying seeing how his little personality is developing, and how quickly he is growing.
This past month has been eventful in all the ways he has been changing and doing new things.
Some highlights from this past month...

He is certainly an explorer...he has mastered crawling and he now is pulling up to stand- poor guy thinks he can stand without holding onto anything-so when he lets go he falls over like a tree-not even breaking his fall. He has successfully gone up one step...and thinks he can go up others, of course we are working on preventing that! :O) He says "DaDa", "BaBa" (we think that's bottle or baby), "Hey", and finally he says "MAMA"!!!!! He especially likes to call out for MaMa when he wants something or wants to be rescued from his crib!

Earlier this month we went through sleep training again and though we had a tough start- he is doing much much better. Sometimes when we put him in the bed he doesn't cry at all- and other times only briefly. He also has slept through the night for the past 4 nights. He eats pretty much anything he is offered- the only thing he seems to dislike so far is oatmeal cereal. He loves veggies and fruits and he seems eager to try some table food. He responds when we call his name- and he is learning the meaning of "No" and he seems to respond well to it. (some of the time). :o)

We look forward to seeing all that this next month will bring. We will try to keep you updated over the coming weeks.
Happy Eight Months Matthan Blue! :O)
