So its been a little while since we have posted....11 whole days in fact! :O) Just thought we'd give a brief update on what's new with us these days...
Currently we are planning a trip to Nashville in the Fall, to visit my family. We've decided due to all the needed equipment, it would be better to drive. It will be around 12 hours- yikes! But we are hoping it will be smooth with Matthan since we plan to leave in the middle of the night.
Matthan continues to explore----umm everything. He's into drawers, cabinets, blinds, stereos, books, etc. Lately it has felt like "No Matthan" are the most commonly used words around our house. He pulls up on everything as well... and now has started hiking his leg up- trying to get on top of our ottoman. He has a ways to go- but he is adventurous non-the-less. Our latest discovery is that our sweet boy has decided for a midnight or early morning snack he will chew on his beautiful crib! Somehow we didn't see this coming, and as we wait for the handy little crib guard to arrive in the mail- our chipmunk keeps chewing. Yesterday when Mark got him out of bed he had wood stain on his chin I decided I had to do something -so I just tied towels all the way around to try to keep it from getting worse. We'll see how long this lasts! It should be interesting when his lovely crib turns into a full size bed- and there he is as a teenager looking at his bed- wondering what animal chewed his foot board. Can't wait to tell him all about it! Little stinker!
No big news on Baby #2 ...things seem to be going well thus far, and we are grateful for that. We are eager to get the final word (we hope) next Monday as to whether this is a little boy or girl. Though for the past month we've only really considered the baby being a girl- so we (especially me) may be in for a shock if it turns out differently. I've pretty much been seeing "all things pink!".... :O) We know that either way we will be excited to welcome this little one into our lives. Just last night we were looking back through all of Matthan's pictures -amazed he was ever so little, and anticipating having another little one in a few months. We'll post after our appointment next Monday!

Haha! He is seriously TOO CUTE! Camden still chews on his crib and the crib guard didn't work for him as he chewed through that and I thought it was better to have him chew on something that he couldn't choke on as opposed to having a mouth full of foam! Hope it works for you guys! I cringed every time I saw crib stain and wood chips missing from his crib. And you are right.......their beds will be half missing by the time they are sleeping in them when they are teenagers!
Matthan is super cute, Brandy! Oh, and you do a much better job of updating your blog than I do. =)
