lancaster pa.

It's been a while since I've blogged. We have been busy traveling and returning from traveling only to travel again...and then we needed days to recover from all the driving! I have lots of updates, and hope to get caught up in the next week or so...

The first week of October, Mark and I took a day and a half together and went to Lancaster PA. We love it there, its a small town, with frequent reminders of the Amish that live there. We left our little guy (for the first time overnight) at home with Erika & his grandmother "Nanny", he had a great time!

(Two bikes we saw outside of one of the Amish stores, we thought the boys would love them-one day!)

We of course missed our Matthan Blue, but we were able to spend some much needed time alone together. We spent a few hours walking around the little village area that we love...and then we went to Sight & Sound Theater to see "In the Beginning".

(Lion & the Lamb outside of Sight & Sound)

(This is a picture of the restaurant attached to our hotel- they had excellent Belgium Waffles-we might have to make a road trip just for breakfast sometime soon)

We had a great time and wished we had more time to just rest.
