We had a high risk appointment this week, and it looks like our boy is growing rather quickly! He is already more than 3 lbs which is quite big considering we still have two and a half months to go! His head is especially big- just like his brother- and the doctor told us in an ever so gentle way- that this one will be another C-section. We are grateful for the clarity about what the safest plan is from a medical perspective, however, it's a little disappointing not to be able to deliver normally. This plan could change, but only if we go into labor early. Otherwise a C-section it is!
We were able to briefly see a 3 or 4D picture of the baby, and he looks similar to how Matthan looked at this stage in the pregnancy. However, it's really so hard to view the details in those pictures when the baby has his hand up by his face and is moving all around. So, we'll see.
Today we are 28 weeks-so only 11 weeks until week 39!!!
