Today we had a high risk appointment. We go weekly these days, and starting next week we will see the OB and the high risk doctor each week. We are currently almost 35 weeks along. We have ONE MONTH to go...or 4 weeks, or 31 days. (whichever seems shorter!) That is, of course, assuming we make it to the scheduled date for our C-section. Everything looks good. Last week the doctor was a bit concerned about the decreasing amount of amniotic fluid. But this week things look good and there are no concerns. Next week we will get measurements, so we'll find out how big he is.
Sorry for the lack of posting sonogram pictures. Our baby boy doesn't seem to be a big fan of smiling for the camera...so we haven't had any clear sonogram pictures lately. He moves around lots, and has done really well with "practicing breathing" during our bio-physical profiles.
We are in the process of getting things in order...clothes washed and put away, car seat installed, pack-n-play ready, co-sleeper out of the basement, crib bedding in place...etc. We still have lots to do, and not a lot of free time to do it. But, the most important things are done.
Lately, Matthan has been patting my belly- and rarely will say "baby" when prompted. But of course, he has no idea what all that means. He'll learn soon enough :O). I'm feeling ok, still a lot of back pain, but overall doing pretty well.
We'll keep you posted as we have updates...
