Matthan had his 1 year old check up today, he did excellent. His stats are as follows:
Height: 32 1/2 inches
Weight: 27 lbs 10 oz.
Head: 48.8 cm
He's in the 95-97% in all his measurements.
The doctor is pleased with his development. He is walking now...YAY!!! He can take about 12-15 steps and seems more and more to prefer to walk to get places. He still crawls a lot-as he can get places quicker that way. He is doing well with his vocabulary too- he can say about 18 words.
We are supposed to start weaning him from the bottle and introducing more foods. So, we'll see how that goes. He is on whole milk now, and that transition went great- but he loves it warm, it should be interesting to see how that will work in a cup for him. :O)
He is really into dogs right now- he LOVES them. However, there are no plans to get a dog in this house- anytime soon!! He is exploring the environment- opening doors and staying quite busy. We are certainly enjoying our little guy.
By the way, he had a great first birthday. His family birthday party is this weekend, so we'll post about that soon!!!
