Asher has had lots of new developments this month- many first's He has one tooth and he's working on his second! He is sitting up pretty well- still a little tipsy! He is quite the army crawler- he moves very fast- especially when chasing after his brother on their rocket. :O) He's a feisty fella- he is quick with his hands and grabs Matthan anytime he's within reach- its very cute- Matthan is often shocked that his "baby" brother is trying to tackle him. :O)

A view from the outside looking in at Asher! Sweet baby.
sleepy boy.In our attempt at improving Asher's sleep we moved his crib out of Matthan's room. Up until a month ago he only napped occasionally in his crib and spent his nights in the pack-n-play in our room. We moved his crib into the guest room and wow- what a whirlwind it's been. It's taking quite a while to get him used to being in a new room, new bed, down the hall from mommy, and helping him learn to self-soothe. We are still working on the whole process. Bedtime is a time of many challenges these days. We hope in the long run moving his crib will prove to be the best decision and all will be sleeping well one day soon- WE HOPE! It's funny, the first couple nights we put the boys to bed- there was something strange about checking on them in two different rooms- something that really made it feel like WOW we have TWO kids! I know it sounds silly- but there was something official about it all. Maybe up until then it seemed Asher was just an extension of me (his mommy)...who knows.

Asher's new nose scrunch!

Everything these days, makes its way to his mouth!
He enjoy's word world.
Not sure if he's trying to sharpen his tooth or the wing on his rocket :O)

Practicing his chin-ups. :O)
Swinging for the first time! He had lots of fun! Isn't his patch of hair that stands up-so cute!!!

He's clapping!!!
Such a happy boy!

He has lots of nicknames these days : Asher-Roo, Roo, Rooster, Sweet Tart, Jumbee Bunger (this was meant to be bungee jumper- but one day Daddy got it all mixed up- very funny).

He is now in a big-boy car seat- still rear facing- but no more infant carrier! He's growing so fast.

i love this boy.
sweet eyes.
Loving on his brother! He enjoyed the fireman's hat too!
so serious.

Asher still isn't eating any solids, by the doctor's request. He's just taking breast milk- and an occasional bottle here and there. He seems to be holding up pretty well- though he is extremely interested in ever bite we take. :O) We have an appointment with the allergist in a couple weeks and Asher will be re-tested for certain items as well as being tested for some new items. We certainly hope there won't be more foods he can't eat.

Asher it's a joy to be your mommy & daddy. Daily we comment on how sweet you are-oh how blessed we are to have you as our son. We look forward to all that lies ahead for you- but we are also seeking to really enjoy every moment with you now. We love you.
